I'm Ren Curry, an animator and illustrator currently based in Minnesota. I enjoy everything about art, whether that be character or environment design, storytelling, and more! I'm especially interested in character-driven, personal narratives that focus on elements of queerness. I graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation, and I specialize in 2D traditional and rigged animation.I love the intimacy and feeling of hand-drawn animation to explore subtle movements and character acting and tell stories with emotion, connection and relationships between characters, and about interacting with (or another!) world, and appreciating the little things. Ultimately my work is about the joys and difficulties of being neurodivergent, existing in a world that wasn't built for you, and embracing the things that you love.
